Tips on hair care

Good hair is a touchy topic with me, and guess why? Before my son was born I had people actually queuing up to actually take a look at my thick glossy brunette locks. Post pregnancy, I need a microscope to find a few hairs on my happily balding head. Every morning there are a few more hairs which have parted company with me, lying on the pillow. Why do women have to pay such a severe price for continuing the human species?

And who’s the silly scientist who said that a hundred hairs falling per day is normal? I could wring the silly man’s throat a hundred times over. How in the world did he manage to count those hundred hairs and how many women did he actually meet to get those numbers? Ridiculous man with his silly numbers!

Forgive the general ranting! But it’s really depressing to have your pride and glory slowly stripping itself away. And frankly saying I’m way, way , waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, past the ‘hundred hairs falling per day’ mark.

So what can I do? Don’t really know but I’ve tried out a few home remedies and I’m seeing partial results. Not yet satisfying but I’m getting there.

  • Take daily tablet of multivitamins, calcium, and minerals. Really boosted the immune system as well as the sex drive. Hubby was delighted.
  • Coconut oil massages followed by a fifteen minute wrap with a really steaming towel alternated with a chilly cold wrap. Jinglingly fresh on the head and really conditioning on the hair, if you can stand the coconutty pong.

Further research is continuing so keep looking me up.
