How to Beat That Stress!

Though each of us is different and reacts differently to various situations; highly stressful situations unless tackled with, can seriously impair us all.
Our body sends us signals of distress whenever our stress levels rise too high. These signs could be anything from exhaustion, depression, skin rashes, and hair loss to even loss of self confidence. Thus, the need arises to find out ways of how to deal with stress.
Developing our inner strengths is the best tool to combat stress. Here are a few pointers to attain your peaceful nirvana!·
- Complete relaxation in mental as well as physical terms- listening to calming music or tapes of positivism.·
- Positive thinking/ affirmative self talk- letting go, visualization of optimistic situations and reconfirmation of past achievements.
- Meditation and Yoga– deep breathing, focusing on pleasant emotions.
- A balanced lifestyle- healthy eating, anger management, time management, rehabilitation or reforms.
- Exercise- learning a new art, pottery, dance, painting, fishing or a gym workout can burn out stress.
- Changes in the surroundings, job or the situation.
- Take counseling or talk to trusted friends when facing too much confusions.
