Millions of hopeless people were desperately flocking to different quack groups all over the country for the drug which has been widely promoted in the western media as the new potential treatment for AIDS. Although government was quick to point out the fact that, there was no cure for HIV, it didn’t stop the rush of people.

• More than 4,000 HIV-positive people congregated in the Thai capital, Bangkok, to get hold of free examples of a controversial pill which claims to be the HIV cure of the century. Many of the gravely ill patients flocked in droves to experiment with the samples of the controversial VI IMMUNITOR tablets.
